HHS helps fill food shelves
The first Hudson High School Empty Bowl Dinner organized by the school’s Social Justice League and the Purple Tree raised more than $1,100 for area food shelves after expenses.

A Hudson man is organizing a golf tournament to raise funds for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Scott J. Nelson, a captain with the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport Fire Department, is hoping to enlist community support for the cause.

Neff benefit is Saturday
Amanda Neff was diagnosed with lymphoma, lung cancer and leukemia in 2005. Because Neff’s treatments and other associated expenses are not covered by insurance, supporters are holding a benefit for the family from 5-8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18 at Trinity Lutheran Church and Academy.
