The DA of St. Croix County is living on cloud nine. His law credentials have generated so much power that it has gone to his head. It is time for him to go. Mr. Johnson has decided to join the anti-second amendment crowd, not for gun control but for a total gun ban. Mr. Johnson, you keep your advice, I’ll keep my guns.
The St. Croix Valley Music Educators Association (SCVMTA) is a professional organization for teachers of private lessons for piano, voice, string and woodwinds. I am writing to voice the opinion of its members in regard to the article about Hudson High School’s choral department and its inclusion of sacred music for education and performance.
Not surprisingly, several writers have submitted letters opposed to St. Croix County District Attorney Eric Johnson’s proposal to enact reasonable and meaningful gun restrictions (2/25/2013). It is also not surprising that some writers are misinformed when it comes to their understanding of the Constitution.
The grey wolf isn’t the only dangerous beast in the forest. There’s another beast that is even more dangerous. This other beast isn’t as smart as the grey wolf, but what it lacks in intelligence it makes up for with unusual savagery.

On April 2nd there will be an election for three town of Troy officials, one of which is the town chairperson. Troy resident and fourth generation family farmer, Dan Pearson, is on the ballot for town chairperson.
