Try out for volleyball Jan. 11 
Hudson Volleyball Association’s Croix Attack will hold open tryouts for boys in grades 8-12 on Jan. 11 at the Hudson Prairie Elementary gym from 6-7:30 p.m.

Four Raiders All-BRC volleyball
Amber Saathoff was named to the All-Big Rivers Conference Volleyball Team for the second straight year while Stephanie Little, Hannah Wirth and Katrina Zenz were all honored for the first time, giving Hudson four players on the 23-player team voted on by conference coaches and released last week.

Volleyball falls in regional final
The Raider volleyball team opened the WIAA Regional playoffs with a four-set win over Superior last Thursday before losing to top-seeded Eau Claire North in four sets Saturday in Eau Claire.

Volleyball sixth at Big River Conference Tournament
The Raider volleyball team went 1-4 at Saturday’s Big Rivers Conference Tournament to finish sixth. The Raiders’ begin postseason play Thursday night, Oct. 21 when they host Superior at 7 p.m. at the high school.

Spikers ready for BRC Tourney
The Raider volleyball team traveled to Chippewa Falls for its final Big Rivers Conference dual match of the season last Tuesday, where it dropped a tough five-set match to the Cardinals by scores of 18-25, 25-18, 20-25, 25-20, 10-15.

The Raider volleyball team split a pair of matches on back-to-back nights against Baldwin-Woodville and Eau Claire North last week, before playing to a third-place finish at the Cretin-Derham Hall Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Spikers bounce back from BRC loss
The Raider volleyball team dropped a five-set match at Rice Lake last Tuesday, Sept. 21 before going undefeated at the Maple Northwestern Tournament Saturday. The Raiders will compete at the Cretin-Derham Hall Tournament this Saturday, Oct. 2.

Volleyball opener Thursday
After a long first week, with 80 girls trying out for 51 spots, the Raider volleyball team will kick off the 2010 season Thursday night, Aug. 26 with a nonconference home opener against Ellsworth beginning at 7:15 p.m.
