Girls skate past New Richmond
The Raider girls’ hockey team continued its winning ways with a 7-3 victory over New Richmond last Tuesday, Dec. 4, to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Boys’ skaters open with split
The Raider boys’ hockey team faced a pair of stiff challenges in its first two games of the season last week, and first-year coach Brooks Lockwood said they passed the test.
The Raiders knocked off Red Wing 5-3 in their season opener last Thursday at Gornick Arena before playing Superior tough on the road in a 5-4 loss to the second-ranked Spartans on Saturday.

Stanley Cup coming to Hudson Aug. 27
The Stanley Cup will be making an appearance in Hudson on Aug. 27. Hudson native and Los Angeles Kings defenseman Davis Drewiske is expected to deliver the cup to the city for a few hours late in the afternoon, though the exact details are still being finalized.
