Municipal officers recognized
Long serving officers of municipalities in St. Croix County were recognized by the board of supervisors March 7. Shannon O’Brien overcomes incredible odds to realize her goal

The Dar-Ja has moored in Hudson for 59 years
Among the sailboats moored along the dike road in Hudson Harbor next spring will be one that has a longer history here than most residents of the city. The Dar-Ja has dropped anchor in Hudson each summer since 1954.

Hot Air Affair has a successful launch Saturday morning
About 30 hot air balloons lifted off from the grounds of E.P. Rock Elementary School shortly after 7:30 a.m. Saturday. While the temperature hovered around 0 degrees, a light north breeze made for a successful launch of the 24th annual Hudson Hot Air Affair.

Fundraiser supports Roger Davis
A music benefit for Roger Davis featuring the local band PHO will be held at Bayport BBQ on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 8 to 11 p.m. There is a $5 cover charge for the all-ages show. All proceeds will go to the Davis Fund, and donations will be welcome at the event.
