In this business some things stick in your mind. For me I remember the first time I photographed James O. Burnley, known to most in town as Jim. It was when he had created a pen and ink sketch of his church, First Presbyterian.
The space is compact and the walls are lined with art, but Sunday night the gallery was abuzz with light conversation as a steady stream of guests stopped to visit, shop and see the depth and breadth of the artwork within.
The Riverside Studio Gallery is settling into its new location at 406 Second St. The gallery, managed by David and Ellie Burnley, features a vast collection of Jim Burnley’s artwork in prints and greeting cards.
