State hockey finals to be broadcast on Comcast
Comcast cable TV viewers will be able to watch the WIAA Boys and Girls State Hockey Tournament championship games live Saturday from the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
The girls’ championship game will be aired Saturday at noon with the boys’ game at 2:30 p.m. Comcast is televising both games in association with WQOW-TV in Eau Claire.

The Raider girls’ hockey team stayed close to the third-ranked and Big Rivers Conference champion Eau Claire/Altoona Stars through most of two periods in their first-round playoff game last Thursday, Feb. 16 in Eau Claire, but the Raiders came up on the short end of a 6-2 decision.

WIAA hockey playoffs: Raider boys win, girls lose
The Hudson High School boys’ hockey team defeated Amery, 6-1, in a WIAA Regional final game Thursday night at Gornick Arena while the Raider girls saw their season come to an end with a 6-2 loss to Eau Claire/Altoona in Eau Claire.
The third-seeded Raider boys advance to the sectional semifinals to face No. 2 seed New Richmond Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in New Richmond.
