I’m astonished at the letter last week from Mark Kaisersatt. Does he really want the taxpayers to believe that he convinced the teachers to work only if they got a 6 percent a year increase in their pay for four years on top of the existing $1.2 million levy override into infinity?
So last week we had Hudson School Board member Mark Kaisersatt responding to Mr. Shaw in these very pages. I am reminded by the old story that it sometimes is better to appear ignorant by not saying anything than it is by opening your mouth and removing all doubt.
For school board member Mark Kaisersatt to say he would “save a seat” for Marion Shaw at the next school board meeting is one of the most disingenuous statements I think that I’ve ever seen in your paper.
There is an unwritten rule of decorum for elected board members, never personally attack the tax payers by name. While Mr. Shaw may have landed a shot below the belt with his reference to Mr. Kaisersatt’s living conditions, this does not excuse his personal attack against a private taxpayer’s integrity.
Hudson School Board member Mark Kaisersatt reminds me a little of Osama bin Laden. He hides in his cave and only comes out in public when he feels he can benefit from a little camera time.
