Hudson Hot Air Affair Fundraising Committee is once again offering a free concert and fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 6, courtesy of Angels Pet World, and will benefit Turningpoint, a local shelter for victims of domestic violence.
Last February (high school) and last April (middle school), 50 Hudson middle and high School music students auditioned in Eau Claire for the opportunity to become members of the 2009 Wisconsin Middle Level Band, Choir or Orchestra or Wisconsin High School Honors Band, Choirs, or Orchestra.
Denise Minea grew up around music, as her family was a very musical one. Ever since she was a young girl, she has been singing in church choirs, too. Now Minea, a Woodbury resident, is hoping to reach others with her debut album of Christian folk music.
