The Boy Scouts of America’s plan to erect a statue in Lakefront Park inched forward Monday night. The Hudson City Council adopted a policy that would allow the placement of statues like the one the Boy Scouts want to give to the city.
After a long hiatus, Kevin Vance will be putting his university training to use. A little over 30 years ago, the Hudson businessman graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in public administration and urban planning.
Ann Davey has time to read what she wants. In fact, she’s surrounded by books of all manner and subject at her new job in Hudson. Davey retired late last year as attorney manager of the Wisconsin Public Defender’s Office in Hudson.
As the 2007-08 school year comes to a close, the district is looking ahead to next fall; in particular, the need to accommodate a growing student population at the middle school. This year, the sixth-grade class was the largest class in the middle school’s history.
