The Octagon House Museum Complex, 1004 Third St., opens for the 2009 tour season Friday, May 1. In celebration of mothers, the Octagon House Museum is once again offering free tours for mothers accompanied by a paying child (of any age) on Mothers’ Day, Sunday, May 10, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
The St. Croix County Historical Society is hosting its annual Light Up Night Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. The evening includes tours of the Octagon House and two others in the neighborhood, the Phipps Inn across the street and the John Lee House a few blocks away.
The St. Croix County Historical Society is offering a special Father’s Day tour of the Octagon House Museum Sunday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Families are encouraged to attend, and fathers are admitted free when accompanied by a child of any age.
