Enroll in summer art camps
Summer Art Camp, weekly partial and full-day classes for preschool through teens in pottery, drawing, painting, sculpture, mosaic, animation, fiber arts, jewelry-making, creative dramatics, musical theater, and much more, offered through Aug. 24, remains open for enrollment at The Phipps Center for the Arts.
Classes are taught by area artists with extensive education experience, including "Just Add Water", an art and science class for ages 8 through 13, on Monday through Friday, July 16 to 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. taught by Liz Malanaphy; "Sculpture in 3-D" for ages 7 through 13 on Monday through Friday, July 16 through 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. taught by Karron Nottingham; and "Fun with Clay" for ages 4 through 6 on Monday through Wednesday, July 16 through 18, from 9 to 10 a.m. taught by Ben Gavin.
