Jordan Loken crowned Pepper Fest queen; Ken Merchak is king

The North Hudson Pepper Fest royalty for the coming year was crowned last Sunday afternoon during the annual festival at the village hall.

The queen for 2015 is Jordan Loken, daughter of Danny and Lori Loken.

Longtime North Hudson resident Ken Merchak was named king.

The princesses are Hunter Thompson, daughter of Dan and Jessica Thompson; Emma Thole, daughter of Alan and Theresa Thole; and Julia Pettee, daughter of Shawn and Maureen Pettee.

Marit Mears of Houlton was the winner of the Rotary International raffle for a new Ford Mustang.
