The St. Croix Valley Chapter of Fishing Has No Boundaries knows the very well the healing powers of fishing. At this year’s annual event, which launched from Lakefront Park, more than 100 people including volunteers and participants with a variety of disabilities spent two days fishing on the scenic St. Croix River.

Along with fishing, the event includes “food, fun and camaraderie” for participants and volunteers alike according to the nonprofit organization. The goal of the event is to provide a safe and positive experience for all of the participants.
