Houlton woman joins 'The Biggest Loser'

When the new season of "The Biggest Loser" television series debuted Sunday night, Lisa Rambo of Houlton was among the contestants on the popular weight loss show.

Rambo, 37, lives with her husband Tony, pastor of River Community Church, and they are the parents of four active and athletic children. Rambo, who started the show at 246 pounds, said she wants to lose weight in order to be a good role model for her children. She hopes the program will give her a "toolbox" to radically change her lifestyle. She has already lost 16 pounds according to the show's website.

Rambo is a special education assistant at Hudson High School.

The show airs Mondays on KARE11 at 7 p.m.
