Bucks must decide today whether they'll keep Ramon Sessions

The Milwaukee Bucks must decide by 4 p.m. today whether they'll keep point guard Ramon Sessions.

The Bucks can still match a four-year, $16 million offer made last Friday by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

But it would put Milwaukee over the threshold for the NBA's luxury tax and general manager John Hammond has repeatedly said the Bucks will not pay that tax.

Hammond can still work out a trade of some kind to create room for Sessions and he says he's keeping his options open until the last moment.

The Timberwolves needed a point guard after their first-round draft choice Ricky Rubio decided to keep playing in Spain.

The Bucks would still have three point guards if they lose Sessions - Luke Ridnour, Roko Ukic, and rookie Brandon Jennings.
