Stout out at NCAA hockey tourney

It's one and done for the University of Wisconsin-Stout at the NCAA Division 3 men's hockey tournament.

The Blue Devils lost their first-round game at St. Thomas of Minnesota Wednesday night 4-1.

Nate Ryan put the Tommies in front for good with a power play goal with 10 minutes left and just 10 seconds later, Sean Bryant scored to put St. Thomas up by two.

Derek Hanson had the only goal for UW-Stout, which ended its season at 18-9-3.

St. Thomas improved to 20-6-2. They'll now play top-ranked St. Norbert in De Pere on Saturday in the national quarter-finals.
