Packers sign at least 10 free agents since the draft

The Green Bay Packers have signed at least 10 free agents since the NFL Draft ended on Sunday.

Five of the prospects are wide receivers, including Greg Jennings' former teammate at Western Michigan, Jamarko Simmons.

He caught 104 passes last year and broke Jennings' school record of 98.

Simmons said it was an honor to surpass Jennings in the record books and he looks forward to getting the chance to be teammates with him again.

The Packers are also bringing in several players for try-outs at their rookie orientation camp later this week.

Western Michigan tight end Branden Ledbetter will among those getting an audition, along with a pair of quarterbacks Brian Johnson of Utah and David Johnson of Tulsa.

Wisconsin corner Allen Langford also got an invite from the Packers but he's still seeking a free-agent contract with other NFL teams.

Meanwhile, the Packers have waived center Brennen Carvalho.

They signed him last May as a non-drafted free agent, and he spent all of last season on the practice squad.
