BBB urges caution when buying tickets for Favre's return to Green Bay
Wisconsin's Better Business Bureau urges Packer fans to be careful when buying tickets for Brett Favre's return to Green Bay on Sunday.
A number of counterfeit tickets were sold outside the Metrodome in Minneapolis the last time the Packers and Vikings played on Oct. 5.
The same thing happened at big games outside Lambeau Field the past couple seasons.
And the bureau said a Packer fan paid $4,000 to an online seller for season tickets that apparently never existed.
The BBB has the following advice: Make sure the tickets have a Packers water-mark on the back, perforated edges at the left and bottom, and ink that doesn't smudge when it gets wet.
The bureau says online buyers should choose sellers with a long history of satisfied customers and to get the seller's name and address.
Also, the bureau says you should not pay with cash, so you can prove it if you get shorted.
