Badgers move up to 17th in AP poll, Tolzien wins Big Ten honor
The Wisconsin football team moved up four places to 17th in the AP poll, after their 21-point victory over Michigan on Saturday.
The Badgers also jumped six spots to 14th in the USA Today coaches' poll, and they rose four spots to 16th in the BCS Standings.
Junior quarterback Scott Tolzien was named the Big Ten's offensive player of the week, after he threw four touchdown passes and ran for another against the Wolverines.
Tolzien also became just the third quarterback in Wisconsin history to throw four TD passes twice in the same season.
He also did it against Michigan State.
Darrell Bevell accomplished the feat in 1993, and Jim Sorgi did it in 2003.
The Badgers are now 5-2 in the Big Ten and 8-2 overall.
They can still get a share of the Big Ten title if they beat Northwestern next Saturday and Ohio State loses at Michigan.
