The Season of Giving

Food drop-offs

  • The Century 21 real estate offices in Hudson and River Falls are accepting non-perishable food items through December during regular business hours. The Hudson office is located near the Freedom Valu Center on Coulee Road.
  • Dr. Jennifer Shupe of Croixview Family Chiropractic, 901 Dominion Drive, Suite B, is also collecting items through December; (715) 381-9965.

    Cookbooks for charity

    WESTconsin Credit Union has compiled a cookbook of 1,000 recipes from its members and staff and is selling copies for $14 each at any WESTconsin office, including the Hudson office, 1601 Maxwell Drive. Proceeds support Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul.

    Coat dropoff

    WESTconsin credit union offices in the area, including the Hudson office at 1601 Maxwell Drive, are collecting gently used coats through mid-January to distribute to human services agencies in western Wisconsin.

    Toys for Tots

  • The Hudson High School cheerleading program is spearheading a districtwide Toys for Tots drive - students and community members can participate by bringing in new, unwrapped toys or money donations to any Hudson public school office by Dec. 18.     Operation HELP

    To donate to the organization, contact Jennifer Lukas at (715) 377-9990 after 6 p.m. on weeknights or between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekends.

    Salvation Army bell ringers

    The Salvation Army needs bell ringers to staff the red kettles at the Hudson County Market, Family Fresh Foods, Wal-Mart, Fleet Farm and Papa Murphy's Pizza. To volunteer for a shift, contact Amy at (715) 554-7127.
