Something for everyone at the annual Spring Showcase April 14

The 11th annual Spring Showcase, presented by the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau, is scheduled Sunday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hudson Sports & Civic Center.

The Spring Showcase is a family friendly, community business expo offering information about area services and products. The event features over 80 businesses, live entertainment, samples, drawings, kids activities and prizes. Kids activities include Paint a Pot, Paint a Piggy Bank, Decorate a Cookie, an inflatable game, wandering clowns and much more. Admission is free.

"Hudson is home to a variety of amazing local talent," said Andrea Jorgenson, Chamber Director of Communications and Programs. "Enjoy the a capella sounds of Hudson High Harmony, a production by The Phipps Center Children's Theater, the pizazz of Helmer Dance, St. Patrick's swing choir The Shamrocks, the high energy of Ultimate Martial Arts, the Hudson High School trio August Blues and a visit from the Raptor Center showcasing their amazing birds!"

Raffle tickets are available now at the County Market Service Counter, Lavender Thymes, and the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce - Call (715) 386-8432 or (800) 657-6775. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10.

Among the prizes are:

--A comedy dinner cruise for two, plus an overnight stay at the Afton House Inn (provided by Afton House Inn/Afton-Hudson Cruise Lines).

--A 15-foot trampoline with enclosure (provided by Sam's Club).

--Four Twins tickets (provided by Mix 105 Radio).

--Gas grill & grill meat package (provided by Walmart and RJ's Meats and Groceries).

--Rain barrel with planting (provided by Hudson Home Depot).
