The annual Marie Blakeman Award was presented to Sam Cari at the St. Croix County Government Center Friday, Jan. 15. Cari was unable to attend the banquet. He and his wife Teresa, his four children and 11 grandchildren were on a long-planned cruise celebrating the couple’s 40th wedding anniversary.
