Northland Liquors burglarized early Tuesday
Northland Liquors, 1920 Crest View Drive, was broken into around 1 a.m. Tuesday, April 1.
According to a police report, forced entry was gained through the back door of the building and a wall was broken down to gain access to the store.
Once inside, an unsuccessful attempt was made to pry open the safe, but the alarm sounded and the suspect fled.
According to HPD Det. Pete Schultz, nothing was reported missing, but approximately $2,500 worth of damage was done to the premises.
Schultz said policre are in the process of reviewing videotape from the store. Only one suspect appears in the video.
Police are also investigating a burglary into a storage facility on Hosford Street that was reported around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30.
A lock was cut on one unit and golf clubs valued at $800 were taken. The police investigation into both incidents is ongoing.
