Wisconsin teen achieves perfect ACT score
A Milwaukee high school junior achieved a rare perfect score on the ACT college entrance exam.
School district officials said Zhenrui Liao is taking the International Baccalaureate program at Rufus King High School. He scored a perfect 36 on the ACT test when he took it earlier this year.
A year ago, the average Wisconsin score was 22.2, which is higher than the national average. Fewer than 1% of students who take the test score a perfect 36. An ACT official could not say immediately if there was more than one Wisconsin student who got a perfect score.
