Stem cell symposium Nov. 19 at UWRF
The first Regional Regeneration Symposium co-hosted between the UWRF Tissue and Cellular Innovation Center and the University of Minnesota Stem Cell Institute Master Program will be held from 9 a.m.-noon on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the University Center Ballroom.
The event will focus on stem cell and regenerative medicine research at both the TCIC and the SCI. Graduate student researchers from the SCI will present research done in relation to their thesis work and UWRF research students will present work related to summer research internships from the summer of 2013 as well as earlier research on modeling artificial tissues.
The public is invited to attend this significant event to to learn about the exciting new fields of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine at UWRF and our sister organizations UMinn and UW-Stout. Information will be available about the Masters degree program at UMinn SCI as well.
