Middle school concert is Tuesday

The Hudson Middle School Music Department will present its fall choir concert Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Hudson High School auditorium.

Starting the concert will be the Sixth Grade Choir singing "One-Eyed Jack," by Nancy Telfer, "Dare to Dream," by Neil Lorenz and Mary Lynn Lightfoot, and an African folk song, "Sansa Kroma."

Next on the program will be the Seventh Grade Choir, starting off with "Alexander's Ragtime Band," by Irving Berlin, followed by "Carry Me Home," a spiritual medley of "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" and "Deep River," arranged by Jean Ann Shafferman.

Next on the program will be the Eighth Grade Choir singing "I Am A Trav'ler," by Ed Harris and "Shine On Me," a spiritual arranged by Rollo Dilworth. They will close the concert with a patriotic medley, "America, My Country," arranged by Brad Printz.

Directing the middle school choirs is Carol J. Dahle. Accompanists are LeAnn Stein and Deb McPhetres.
