Bible Baptist has home school event, free concert

Bible Baptist Church on Hwy. 35 in North Hudson is inviting all homeschoolers in western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota to "School Daze" scheduled Thursday, Nov. 18.

Designed for homeschooled students in grades one through 12, the day will be filled with interesting age-appropriate games and skits, as well as a sacred music presentation followed by a practical Bible devotional by the featured guests, the Bob Jones University Music Ministry Team.

Events begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m. There is a fee which includes a pizza lunch buffet. Call the church office at (715) 386-2362 to register.

Community invited

The preceding night, Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. the community is invited to hear this team's sacred music concert at Bible Baptist Church. There is no charge, however, a free-will offering will be taken. A nursery will be provided for this concert.

Featuring vocal, piano and instrumental music, the BJU Music Ministry Team is touring the midwestern United States this fall. Members of the group are all students at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., which is a Bible-based Christian liberal arts university with an annual enrollment of nearly 4,000 students from all 50 states and over 40 countries.
