Berning announces Hudson Common Council candidacy
Paul Berning announced his campaign for the District 4 seat of Hudson Common Council on Monday, Nov. 27.
"I believe it is vitally important that Hudson continue to attract and foster businesses that strengthen our local economy. Hudson currently offers families a bright future with a vibrant quality of life, but I see areas for improvements," Berning said in a press release.
Berning said issues facing the council lately have been due to finances and raising the mill rate. He said new ways need to be found to balance the budget.
"I am running for Hudson City Council in District 4, because I am confident we can pull together as a community and find solutions to the daunting issues we face," Berning said.
