Ostby steps down from Hudson Town Board
After almost 36 years of service to the Town of Hudson, Dave Ostby has resigned his seat as Supervisor on the Hudson Town Board. At the June 5, 2018 meeting Ostby announced that he and his wife Connie, who both retired from 3M Company in 2015, have sold their home and moved out of the Town.
In a statement to the town board, Ostby said that he and Connie wanted to travel and spend more time with children and grandchildren. He also thanked the town residents for the opportunity and support given him over the years.
At the July 10 , 2018 meeting of the town board, Chairman Jeff Johnson presented Ostby with a plaque in recognition of his service to the citizens of Town Hudson. Among other duties, Ostby served as one of the town's representatives to the Hudson Area Library Board, the Advisory Board to Exodus House, the Lutheran Social Services Halfway House in the Town, and liaison
for to the Hudson Boosters and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
At the June 13 , 2018 meeting of the Town Board, Mary Yacoub was appointed to fill out Ostby's term.
