Kristi J. Robinson, 56
Kristi Jean Robinson, age 56, of Roberts, Wis., passed away peacefully at her home on April 12, 2017 after a short but brave battle with brain cancer.
Kristi was born February 9, 1961, in Northfield, Minn., the youngest child and only daughter of Roger and Janice (Salsbury) Robinson. She graduated from Northfield High School in 1979, where she was known for her talent on the basketball court. Kristi worked as a welder for many years, but most recently was working at Andersen Windows in Bayport, Minn.
Kristi will be remembered most for her big beaming grin. Her friends will always cherish memories of an intelligent, amusingly stubborn, and playful personality. Kristis home was her sanctuary. Her favorite place to be was on the deck enjoying the sun or next to a campfire with her best pal Reno. She was a talented artist, combining her skills in welding with incredible creativity to make many beautiful pieces of metal sculpture and artwork. She loved working in the yard, taking care of her flowers and plants, and watching for her birds to return.
Kristi was preceded in death by her mother, Janice; her father, Roger; her brother Jeffrey; and her two beloved canine buddies Reno and Murphy. She will be missed dearly and remembered often by her friends.
A celebration of her life will take place at 4:00 p.m. on May 20, 2017, at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course Conference Center, 163 Radio Road, River Falls, WI 54022.
