Thelma E. Hassman, 77
Thelma Elaine Hassman, age 77, of Hudson, Wis., died on Monday, July 10, at the Baldwin Care Center.
Thelma was born on March 11, 1940, the daughter of Vern and Inez Kuglin in Redwood Falls, Minn. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School with the class of 1958. She completed Nurses Training at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in her early 20s. Thelma worked as a Registered Nurse at various hospitals. On March 25, 1966, Thelma was married to Raymond Hassman in St. Paul, Minn. They moved to Hudson, Wis., in 1977. The most important things in Thelma's life were God and Family. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Thelma was faithful in everything she did. Thelma and Raymond attended Bible Baptist Church in Hudson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Inez (Sommerfield) Kuglin.
She is survived by husband, Raymond Hassman; children, Debra (Dennis) Tapp of Woodville, Wis., Sarah (Steve) Magnuson of Lindstrum, Minn., Daniel (Karyn) Hassman of Johannesburg, South Africa, Mary (Chad) Wagner of Viroqua, Wis.; 17 grandchildren; and siblings, Roger (Marlene) Kuglin, Donna Peterson, Myra Kuglin, Larry (Carlene) Kuglin.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, at the Bible Baptist Church, 546 N. 6th Street, Hudson, WI. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 14, at the Bible Baptist Church and Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
