Library Column: Library launches new website

Body:

As a resource and tool for the local community, it was important the Hudson Area Public Library's website be accessible, easy to navigate, and promote the multitude of programs offered. The library partnered with local design studio Christiansen Creative to design and develop the new site. Overall, the goal was to create a better user experience while raising awareness of all the services and programs available to the communities it serves.

Exciting new features on the library's website include popular books and DVDs highlighted on the homepage, online event registration, an integrated calendar of events, online meeting room reservations, and social sharing. Thank you to those who participated in the library survey and provided feedback that helped ideate those functions. Stay tuned throughout the summer for added content and more information on the site.
