Hudson scored on its first two possessions of the game and opened up a 17-0 first quarter lead on its way to a 31-0 win over Eau Claire Memorial in a WIAA Level 1 playoff game Friday night, Oct. 19, at Newton Field.

The Raiders will face Bay Port, 19-17 winners over D.C. Everest, in a Level 2 playoff game Friday, Oct. 26, at Dorais Field in Chippewa Falls.

Raider defensive back Josh Evenson picked off a pass on Memorial's first play from scrimmage to give the Raiders the ball at the Old Abe 39-yard line. Eight plays later quarterback Mike Hommes scored on a 6-yard keeper to give Hudson a 6-0 lead.

After a Memorial three-and-out, Hommes broke free for a 39-yard run to the Old Abe 8-yard line and Sam Somerville capped the drive with a 21-yard field goal to make it a 10-0 game.

After trading punts, an interception by Miles Lewis, his first of two on the night, set up a 22-yard touchdown run by Blake Amborn to put Hudson up 17-0 at the end of one.

Hommes scored on a 28-yard third quarter run and Dan Loughney capped the scoring with a 2-yard TD with 4:34 remaining to make the final 31-0.
