Urbik drafted by NFL's Steelers

Hudson High School graduate Kraig Urbik was selected by the defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the National Football League draft Sunday.

The Steelers picked Urbik, an offensive lineman from the University of Wisconsin, with the 79th overall selection and 15th pick in the third round.

Urbik, a 6-foot-5, 328 pound lineman, started 50 games as a Badger, 34 at right guard and 16 at right tackle. He is one of four Badgers selected in the NFL draft.

Urbik played football at Hudson for head coach Craig Jilek. He started every game while earning first team All-Big Rivers Conference honors as a junior and senior and received first Team All-State honors as a senior.
