Musky tourney coming to Hudson, St. Croix

The scenic St. Croix River near Hudson will be the host of the fourth qualifying event of the Professional Musky Tournament Trail - the Musky Hunter Magazine's Fall Meltdown on Sept. 12 and 13.

The St. Croix section from the Hwy. 64 bridge north of Stillwater to the Hwy. 10 bridge in Prescott will be the open areas of the river for the anglers competing in the event.

There are anglers from all over the United States and Canada fishing the Professional Musky Tournament Trail. The tournament headquarters is the Best Western Hudson House Inn. At the end of each day contestants and the public are invited back to the hotel to see how the anglers faired each day and to visit with the fishermen.

The PMTT tournaments are open to anyone and have a $20,000 cash first place based on a full field of 125 boats. To enter, or for information, contact the PMTT at or (815) 478-4351.
