Father John Gerritts from Hudson’s St. Patrick Church stands by the “Bethleehem Peace Light.” The flame had its start at the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem. The flame from the non-denominational Peace Light has been spread around the world. It first came to America in 2001 when it was brought to Ground Zero in New York. It has been less than a year since Grace Place moved from the former St. Anne’s convent in Somerset to much larger quarters in the a former nursing home in New Richmond.
