It has been less than a year since Grace Place moved from the former St. Anne’s convent in Somerset to much larger quarters in the a former nursing home in New Richmond. North Hudson native and longtime Superior Diocese Catholic priest, Fr. James Sam Dabruzzi died Saturday, Nov. 1, at Little Sisters Of The Poor Nursing Home in St. Paul.  His first church was in Mercer, then came Washburn, Rice Lake, Merrill, Osceola and Hayward. He retired from full-time ministry in 1995, but came back to Hudson and continued part time at St. Patrick’s in Hudson for a number of years.
