Ordinance Creating Revised Supervisory District Boundaries Based on Electors' Petition & Referendum St. Croix County, Wisconsin - Ordinance No. 784(2009) Be it ordained by the Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin Chapter 9 - Revised Supervisory District Boundaries - of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances is created as follows: 9.1 Purpose. On November 4, 2008 the electors of St. Croix County voted in a referendum to reduce the number of County Board supervisors from 31 to 19.
Paul R. Cudd, 86, died on Thursday, Aug. 27, at River Falls Area Hospital. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, with Rev. John Henning officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Sunday, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church from 4-8 p.m. and again on Monday one hour prior to the funeral at church. Joan Margaret Dillon, 83, of River Falls, formerly of St. Paul, died peacefully surrounded by her children Wednesday, July 30, 2009, at her residence following a short illness with cancer. Joan was born on Nov. 8, 1925, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Thomas and Juel (Hartigan) DuBoe. Being raised in St. Paul, she attended Nativity Parochial School prior to graduating from Visitation High School. She furthered her education at St. Catherine's College with a degree in political science. In 1949, she was united in marriage to Joseph E. Dillon (former mayor of St.
Michael Edward Gavin, age 56, of River Falls, Wis., died on Thursday afternoon, June 11, 2009 at his home in River Falls. Funeral services on Tuesday, June 16 at St Bridget's Catholic Church in River Falls at 10:30 a.m. Burial following at the St. Bridget's Catholic Church Cemetery. Father Jerry Harris officiating. Visitations on Monday, June 15 at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson from 4-8 p.m. as well as at the church on Tuesday, one hour before service. Services are in the care of the O'Connell Funeral Home in Hudson, Wisconsin.
Donald Lee "Doggie" Berg, 78, long-time resident of River Falls, Spanish professor emeritus at UW-River Falls, and "best snare drummer of his generation," died suddenly on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. A founding member of the Hall Brothers Jazz Band and part-owner of the Emporium of Jazz in Mendota, Minn., he was also the catalyst for the Semester Abroad Program to Mexico at UW-River Falls. He is survived by his wife, Mimi Trudeau; sons: Clint (Freya Larson) of Nashville, and Jason (Wa Stella) of Minnetonka, Minn.; two step-sons: Brent Griffin of Burnsville, Minn., and Phillip (Jeanne) Griffin
