Grove joins First National Bank of River Falls

First National Bank of River Falls (FNBRF) is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Grove as the new Vice President Commercial Lender.

Mike joins First National Bank of River Falls with over 26 years of banking experience from the southeast Minnesota market. He began his career in banking as a consumer lender in 1992 and transitioned to mortgage lending. He has spent the last 18 years as a commercial lender.

Mike graduated from Mankato State University, now known as MN State University Mankato, with a degree in Finance. "Im excited to be working at First National Bank of River Falls, a locally owned community bank with a history of outstanding community involvement," commented Grove.

"Mike has devoted his entire career to helping small business owners prosper. His friendly demeanor and long history of community service will make him a fantastic addition to the First National team," said First National Bank of River Falls President & CEO Jeff Johnson.

Mike is engaged through active volunteer service as community board member with Mayo Clinic Health Systems, treasurer of C.A.R.E Clinic, president of Minnesota State College Southeast Foundation, treasurer of Red Wing Port Authority and past president of Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce.

Mike and his wife, Kristin, have been married for 27 years and reside in Red Wing where Kristin is a first grade teacher in the Red Wing School District. They have two grown children and enjoy an active lifestyle with their family and friends.

The First National Bank of River Falls is an independently owned and operated community bank founded in 1904. They are members of the Independent Community Bankers Association and Wisconsin Bankers Association with offices in River Falls, UW-River Falls, and Prescott.
