FNCB receives OUTSTANDING Ranking

FNCB receives OUTSTANDING Ranking

First National Community Bank is proud to have received an "OUTSTANDING" rating from the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) on their recent Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) evaluation for the year 2018. The CRA is a United States federal law designed to encourage commercial banks and savings associations to help meet the needs of borrowers in all segments of their communities, including low and moderate-income neighborhoods.

Additionally, the Act looks at the financial institutions involvement in giving back to the communities it serves with both financial and volunteer contributions.

Only 67 banks across the entire nation received this prestigious rating in 2018. Since 2014, only 24 banks in the state of Wisconsin have received this distinction.

"This recognition from the OCC is a clear reflection of our commitment to serving the people and communities we call home. We are very honored to have received this rating and are proud of everyone representing FNCB to make this possible." Scott Soderberg, Vice Chairman of the Board, First National Community Bank.

In addition to receiving this distinction, the bank is also celebrating its 100 Year Centennial in 2019 with a variety of celebratory events being held throughout the year. FNCB was founded in 1919 in New Richmond and has been locally owned and operated for 100 years.
