Community Education hosts 'Daddy/Daughter Dance'
Dress in your best and join us for a night to remember as Hudson Community Education hosts the fourth annual "Daddy/Daughter Dance" at the Hudson Middle School on Saturday, March 30, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Open to pre-K through fifth grade girls and the special men in their lives (dad, grandpa, uncle, father-figure, etc.), this fun-filled evening includes a live DJ, dancing, dessert, crafts, a keepsake professional photo by a local photographer and priceless memories.
Local DJ Showtime Entertainment will keep the dance floor rockin' with hits from both dads' and daughters' generations and crowd favorites like the Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, Electric Slide and the Limbo.
"The Hudson Daddy/Daughter Dance is a wonderful opportunity for dads to spend quality time with their daughters," said Michelle Saifullah, Community Education Program Specialist. "We look forward to offering this heartwarming event again this year and are glad it is becoming a cherished tradition for Hudson-area families."
Nearly 700 people attended the third annual dance last March. Space is limited, so early registration by Friday, March 15 is encouraged.
The cost is $25 per couple and $5 for each additional daughter. To register online, visit hudsonraiders.org and click on FeePay.
Non-perishable food donations will be collected at the event to support the Hudson Area Food Shelf.
