The day was chilly but Hudson Home and Garden Club members accomplished the planting of the city's 80 hanging flower baskets.

Residents, businesses and visitors enjoy the baskets' colorful flowers and lush greenery from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Traditionally, the baskets are hung and nurtured by the Hudson Public Works Department.
