Notice is hereby given that the City of Hudson Common Council enacted Ordinance No. 1-09, amending and recreating Municipal Chapter 253, Floodplain Zoning.

  • establishes the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD), 1988 adjustment as the base datum for the regional flood elevation
  • provide for requirements for structures in a floodway and floodfringe areas

  • access to areas of buildings below the flood protection elevation
  • access to information on conducting substantial damage assessments
  • adds a definition of the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) to mean the sea level datum, 1988 adjustment.
