Registration for the 2021-2021 St. Croix Curling Center season is now open. The program will be offered  Friday nights and Sunday afternoons at the St Mary’s Point Arena. The leagues will be at 5:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and 2:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Sundays.

The first days of curling competition will be Friday, Nov. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 7.

For new curlers, Learn to Curl sessions will be offered Friday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 31, at 2:30 p.m. The sessions are $20.

This year there will be one 17-game curling season, starting at the dates above. A calendar for the year will be posted on the club website. At the end of the year there will be a playoff to determine the club champion.

For those who leave the area for part of the season, new curlers can be added to the team as an accommodation.

Curlers must agree to a COVID-19 waiver as part of registration. Curlers are encouraged to register for the season at this time; however, given the uncertainty regarding COVID-19, a full refund of fees will be given if you register and decide not to curl before the start of the curling season due to concern over the COVID-19 risk.

As space is limited and it is on a first come, first served basis, curlers are encouraged to discuss your choice of league with your team and register as soon as possible. You will register individually but be sure to note your team members, if known.

If you are not on a team we will place you on a team as each season we have many new curlers. For safety and efficiency all registration and payment is online on the website

Annual membership will be $110, and the 2021-21 league dues will be $180. You can register for more than one league if desired. When you register, you will be required to agree to the COVID-19 waiver in order to curl this year.

Even if you do not plan to curl this year, we encourage you to sign up and pay membership dues to support the St. Croix Curling Center to fulfill operating costs.

If you have any questions on registration, please call Judy Taylor, chair of the membership committee at 715-410-5858.
