Initial appearances

Melcar Anderson, 37, New Richmond, posted a $2,500 signature bond on felony second degree recklessly endangering safety (domestic abuse) and domestic disorderly conduct charges Feb. 25. The charges resulted from a Feb. 23 incident in the town of Star Prairie.

Ralph Berres, 60, New Richmond, was ordered to pay $3,000 cash bail on felony OWI-seventh/eighth, ninth, misdemeanor bail jumping (two) and operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges Feb. 25. The charges stemmed from a Feb. 24 incident in the town of Stanton.

Jenelle Foy, 34, Fridley, Minn., was ordered to pay $250 cash bail on felony retail theft-intentionally take, felony possession of narcotic drugs and possess drug paraphernalia charges Feb. 25. The charges resulted from a Feb. 23 incident in Hudson.

Levi A. Lyons, 25, Hudson, was ordered to pay $500 cash bail on a felony substantial battery-intend bodily harm (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury) charge Feb. 25. The charge stemmed from a Feb. 4 incident in Hudson.

Stephanie M. Peabody, 23, Boyceville, posted a $2,500 signature bond on four felony bail jumping charges Feb. 25. The charges resulted from incidents Feb. 13 and 16 in Hudson.

Heather M. Pendergast, 23, Houlton, was ordered to pay $500 cash bail on felony possession of methamphetamine and possess drug paraphernalia charges Feb. 25. The charges resulted from a Feb. 22 incident in the town of St. Joseph.

Kyle A. Phillips, 28, Hudson, was ordered to pay $250 cash bail on four felony bail jumping charges Feb. 25. The charges stemmed from incidents July 14, July 20 and July 24, 2018 and Feb. 23 in Hudson.

Randy Plaster, 51, Landfall, Minn., was ordered to pay $500 cash bail on a felony failure to report to jail charge Feb. 26. The charge stemmed from a July 5 incident in Hudson.

Quincy D. Schaffer, 19, Morton, Minn., was ordered to pay $1,000 cash bail on a felony retail theft - intentionally take (as party to a crime, repeater) charge Feb. 25. The charge stemmed from a Dec. 21 incident in Hudson.

Shawn C. Spottswood, 39, St. Paul, waived extradition Feb. 25 to Minnesota, where he has been convicted of a felony drug charge.

Beau Vasas, 34, Eau Claire, was ordered to pay $500 cash bail on felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of THC (second+ offense) and possess drug paraphernalia charges Feb. 25. The charges resulted from a Feb. 22 incident in Roberts.

Closed cases

Billy L. Alexander Jr., 40, New Richmond, was convicted of felony manufacture/deliver THC Dec. 10, and on Jan. 11, he was sentenced to three years of probation and fined $2,239. The charge stemmed from a May 18, 2017 incident in New Richmond.

Angie B. Amundson, 40, Hudson, was convicted of retail theft - intentionally take and felony possession of methamphetamine, sentenced to three years of probation and fined $961 Jan. 15. Fifteen felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents March 6, 21, 29 and 31; Aug. 2, Oct. 6, Nov. 7; Dec. 17 and 18 in Hudson.

A financial transaction/card fraud charge against Emily J. Anderson, 27, New Richmond, was dismissed Jan. 28 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from an incident on and between May 29, 2014 and Sept. 16, 2014 in the town of Hudson.

Three felony and two misdemeanor bail jumping charges against Michael C. Annis, 21, Fairmont, Minn., were dismissed Jan. 25. The charges resulted from incidents March 16, 2017 and Dec. 18, 2018 in Hudson.

Brian T. Augustus, 32, Menomonie, was convicted of felony fraud against financial institution (value exceeds $500 but less than $10,000, as party to a crime), sentenced to two years of probation and fined $518 Jan. 10. Misappropriate ID info-obtain money (repeater, as party to a crime), forgery (repeater, as party to a crime) and theft-movable property (repeater, as party to a crime) charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a May 25, 2017 incident in River Falls.

Joachim K. Bedynek-Stumm, 47, Minneapolis, was convicted of felony bail jumping felony and felony OWI-fourth, sentenced to 30 months of probation and fined $2,659 Jan. 30. His driver's license was revoked for two years and he was ordered to install an ignition interlock device for three years and undergo an alcohol assessment. Eighteen felony bail jumping charges and one count of operating with PAC-fourth were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Jan. 29, 2017 in the town of Eau Galle and May 2, May 3, June 21, July 5, July 14, July 17, July 19, July 22, July 25, July 26, July 29, Aug. 2, Aug. 4, Aug. 5 and Aug. 17, 2017 in Hudson.

A felony possession of narcotic drugs charge against James A. Bonesho, 38, Pewaukee was dismissed Jan. 28 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from an Aug. 5, 2016 incident in River Falls.

Justice D. Elletson, 26, Monticello, Minn., was convicted of retail theft - intentionally take, sentenced to one year of probation and fined $443 Jan. 10. The charges resulted from a Jan. 12, 2018 incident in Hudson.

Louis Everett, 41, Oakdale, Minn., was convicted of retail theft - failure to pay for service, sentenced to three years of probation and fined $518 Jan. 18. A resisting or obstructing an officer charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a July 29, 2017 incident in New Richmond.

James J.M. Farrar, 27, Wausau, was convicted of felony bail jumping and disorderly conduct (use of dangerous weapon), sentenced to three years of probation and fined $961 Jan. 31. Four felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a May 14 incident in Somerset.

Vicki J. Fenner, 55, Hudson, was convicted of felony OWI (fifth/sixth), sentenced to five years of probation and one year in jail and fined $3,566 Jan. 15. Her driver's license was revoked for two years; she was ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device. Felony bail jumping and operating with PAC charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents July 25 and Aug. 11 in Hudson.

Nicholas A. Gallichant, 40, New Brighton, Minn., was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay $268 in court costs Jan. 28 stemming from a Jan. 25, 2018 felony possession of methamphetamine conviction. A felony bail jumping charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Aug. 16, 2017 in the town of Somerset and on or between Dec. 21 and Jan. 5 in Hudson.

Three felony bail jumping charges against Jeffrey R. Gartmann, 40, Woodville, were dismissed Jan. 29. The charges stemmed from incidents Aug. 16, 2017 and Sept. 24, 2018 in Hudson.

Samantha J. Gillis, 35, Minneapolis, was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $518 Jan. 22. Possession of THC (second+) and felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents June 6 in Hudson and Sept. 14 in the town of Hudson.

Shane T. Hollerbach, 47, Oakdale, Minn., was convicted of felony take and drive vehicle without consent, sentenced to 90 days in jail (68 days credit) and fined $518 Jan. 31. The charge stemmed from a Nov. 25 incident in New Richmond.

Jesse J. Hudalla, 23, Hammond, was convicted of possession of cocaine/coca and possession of THC, sentenced to one year of probation and fined $886 Jan. 10. Five felony bail jumping and two possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Nov. 3, 2017 in Baldwin and Dec. 4, 2017 in Hudson.

A felony criminal damage to property charge against Cody W. Huebner, 20, Phoenix, Ariz., was dismissed Jan. 25 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from an April 12, 2015 incident in the town of Emerald.

Mashun D. Jackson, 39, Menomonie, was convicted of felony fraud against financial institution (value exceeds $500 but less than $10,000, as party to a crime), sentenced to two years of probation and fined $518 Jan. 10. Felony bail jumping (two), felony possession of methamphetamine, possess drug paraphernalia and possess/illegally obtained prescription charges against Benjamin J. Julik, 38, Sauk Centre, Minn., were dismissed Jan. 11. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 21, 2017 incident in New Richmond.

William D. Kastens, 55, Deer Park, was convicted of felony OWI-fourth, sentenced to three years of probation and 10 months in jail, fined $1,500, and was ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an interlock ignition device Jan. 11. His driver's license was revoked for two years. An operating with PAC-fourth charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a May 20 incident in New Richmond.

Dylan J. Kelly, 31, New Richmond, was sentenced to seven months in jail Jan. 14 at a probation revocation hearing stemming from a misdemeanor bail jumping conviction. The charge stemmed from an April 10, 2017 incident in New Richmond.

Joseph L. Kohls, 45, Star Prairie, was convicted of possess amphetamine/LSD/psilocin, sentenced to one year of probation and fined $443 Jan. 31. An operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents July 26 in New Richmond and the town of Star Prairie.

Cary P. Lamberta, 45, Hudson, was convicted of felony OWI-fourth, sentenced to three years of probation and 300 days in jail (which was later amended to serving 60 days with good time, remaining 240 days stayed), fined $850, and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an interlock ignition device Jan. 18. His driver's license was revoked for two years. Felony bail jumping and operating with PAC charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents April 10 in Hudson and June 17, 2017 in the town of Emerald.

Robert A. Larsen, 34, Prescott, was convicted of felony OWI (fifth/sixth), sentenced to five years of probation and 360 days in jail, fined $1,426.50, and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an interlock ignition device. His driver's license was revoked for two years. Operating while revoked (alcohol related) and operating with PAC charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a Sept. 1, 2017 incident in the town of Cady.

Dakota S. Lindquist, 21, Eau Claire, was sentenced to seven months in jail and ordered to pay unpaid court costs at a probation revocation hearing Jan. 15. Lindquist was convicted of three fourth degree sexual assault charges April 18, 2017. The charges stemmed from incidents on or between April 1, 2013 and May 11, 2014 in the town of Richmond.

Nathaniel L. Livermore, 24, Buffalo Creek, Colo., was convicted of possession of THC, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $443 Jan. 22. Misdemeanor bail jumping and possess drug paraphernalia (two) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from an Aug. 22, 2016 incident in Somerset.

Three felony bail jumping charges, one felony bail jumping (repeater) and one resisting or obstructing an officer charges against Adam R. Lofquist, 44, Hudson, were dismissed Jan. 23. Two violate / harassment restraint order (domestic abuse, repeater) charges were read in but dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents Dec. 21-23 and Dec. 27, 2017 and Feb. 3, 2018 in Hudson.

Ronald W. Marshall, 51, Miami, Fla., was convicted of felony bail jumping and criminal damage to property, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $2,311 Jan. 11. Resisting or obstructing an officer, felony bail jumping (two), criminal damage to property and throw/discharge bodily fluid at public safety worker/prosecutor charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Aug. 11 in the town of Hudson and Aug. 15 and Sept. 6 in Hudson.

Michael A. Matter, 40, Dresser, was convicted of possession of THC and resisting or obstructing an officer, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $886 Jan. 15. Felony bail jumping and disorderly conduct charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a July 21 incident in Somerset.

Three felony bail jumping charges against Kody D. Melstrom, 23, Ellsworth, were dismissed Jan. 18. The charges resulted from incidents Nov. 27, 2015, June 12 and Sept. 22 in Hudson.

Cassidy J. Muecke, 33, Eau Claire, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and two years of extended supervision Jan. 16. He was also ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device after a three-year driver's license revocation. He was convicted of felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer, felony drive or operate vehicle without consent (repeater), felony OWI-fourth, and felony second degree recklessly endangering safety (repeater) Oct. 30. His fines total $2,638 and his court costs total $1,137. The charges stemmed from incidents May 29 in Deer Park and May 30 in Hudson, the town of Hudson and the town of Warren.

Shannon L. Mull, 40, Minneapolis, was convicted of felony substantial battery-intend bodily harm and misdemeanor bail jumping, sentenced to 30 months of probation and nine months in jail, and fined $961 Jan. 24, Disorderly conduct, misdemeanor bail jumping (two) and domestic disorderly conduct charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents April 4, 2016 in Somerset and June 10, 2016 in Hudson.

Dana S. Nash, 38, Deer Park, was convicted of OWI-third, sentenced to 60 days in jail, fined $1,807, and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device. HIs driver's license was revoked for two years. Felony PAC cause injury (two counts) and felony OWI cause injury (all two-plus offenses) charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from an April 23, 2016 incident in the town of Erin Prairie.

Chad R. Nygaard, 39, Colfax, was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $518 Jan. 14. Resisting or obstructing an officer and possess drug paraphernalia (two) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a Sept. 18 incident in Hudson.

Jamie A. Olson, 37, Hudson, was convicted of theft-movable property and financial transaction card-fraudulent use, sentenced to nine months of probation and fined $400 Jan. 10. The charges stemmed from an incident on or between Sept. 30 and Oct. 3, 2017 in North Hudson.

Steven J. Prideaux, 58, Lakeville, Minn., was convicted of felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer, sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $518 Jan. 29. The charge resulted from an Oct. 6 incident in Hudson.

Andrew L. Roth, 36, Baldwin, was convicted of two expose child to harmful material charges, sentenced to five years of probation and fined $1,036 Jan. 24. The charges stemmed from incidents on or around the summer of 2016 in Spring Valley and on or around the summer of 2017 in Hammond.

William C. Sanders, 21, Glenwood City, was convicted of battery, sentenced to nine months in jail and fined $443 Jan. 22. A felony battery or threat to judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a Nov. 20, 2017 incident in Hudson.

Felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC charges against Dennis M. Senty Jr., 47, Hudson, were dismissed Jan. 11. The charges stemmed from a Nov. 5 incident in Hudson.

Zachary J. Simpson, 23, New Richmond, was sentenced to three years of probation at a revocation hearing Jan. 28 stemming from felony burglary of building/dwelling (two counts) and criminal damage to property convictions. He was fined $2,219 after the agreement was revoked. On Jan. 14, he was sentenced to 258 days in jail and ordered to pay $666 in civil judgment costs after his probation was revoked on disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property convictions. The charges stemmed from incidents May 20-23, 2014 in the town of Erin Prairie, May 19-25, 2014 in the town of Cylon, and Aug. 10, 2016 in Somerset.

Jacob J. Skinner, 29, Stillwater, Minn., was convicted of felony drive or operate vehicle without consent, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $518 Jan. 23. The charge resulted from a Feb. 16, 2017 incident in the town of St. Joseph.

Rebecca A. Tritchler, 31, Stillwater, Minn., was sentenced to three years of probation and fined $518 Jan. 14 at a sentencing hearing stemming from a felony misappropriate ID info-obtain money conviction Oct. 26. The charge stemmed from an April 23, 2017 incident in Hudson.

Jamie Tuzzolino, 39, St. Paul, was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine and operate with restricted controlled substance (second), sentenced to two years of probation and 10 days in jail, fined $2,010, and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment Jan. 17. Her driver's license was revoked for one year. OWI-second and possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a June 15 incident in New Richmond.

Alex J. Ward, 20, Hudson, was sentenced to eight months in a jail at a revocation sentencing hearing Jan. 29. Ward had entered a deferred prosecution agreement July 24 on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 21, 2017 incident in River Falls.

Jack T. York, 24, Ridgeland, was convicted of financial transaction card-fraudulent use and theft-movable property, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $0 Jan. 24. Misappropriate ID info-obtain money (two) and credit card-fraudulent use charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents on and between Aug. 13-31 in New Richmond.
