Trinity Academy welcomes new teachers

Trinity Academy in Hudson has welcomed four new staff members for the 2018-19 school year. Get to know them as you read their questionnaires below.

Kate Hall

Position: Art Specialist

Education: UW-Stout, fashion design / merchandising, a minor in business

Previous experience: No teaching, professional work in event planning, fundraising and program management

Family: Nate Hall, husband; children, Ruby and Nate Jr.

Hometown: Brookfield

Hobbies / special interests: Art!, Distance running, gardening, cooking

Katherine Gonzales

Position: Middle school social studies and math (grades 6-8)

Education: Concordia University, Austin, Texas, Bachelor of Arts in education

Previous experience: Houston, Texas, seven years middle school math

Family: Husband, Ben; children, Evelyn (19), Tobias (26), Genesis (12), Cross (9)

Hometown: Naperville, Ill.

Hobbies / special interests: Discipleship, reading, shopping, traveling

Kelsie Maxwell

Position: 4K teacher

Education: I graduated from UW-River Falls with a major in elementary education and minor in early childhood education

Previous experience: I was a 4K teacher at Jacob's Ladder in River Falls last year

Family: I have a fiancé named Randy and we will be getting married in October.

Hometown: I grew up in Ellsworth and my fiancé and I are building a house in Prescott.

Hobbies / special interests:I love to bake and I enjoy running and being outside!

Chelsea Wesley

Position: Part-time Spanish teacher

Education: UW-River Falls, majored in education
