Learn a bit more about Mrs. Acker.

With a bachelors of science in nursing and a bachelors of arts in Spanish, Acker has had eight successful years as a registered nurse in various settings.
What inspired you to go into nursing?
I became a nurse to help people at their most trying times. Being ill or injured is awful, but seeing your child ill or injured is terrifying and stressful.
When I can be a strong advocate and alleviate even a fraction of fear for these families and children, I go home happy and fulfilled.
What is your favorite part of the job?
I love watching children thrive when they receive proper support from a strong team!
