Favorite Sport/Event and why:

My favorite sport is definitely wrestling. I’ve been competing since I was 3-years old and it’s always motivated me to work hard. I especially love the individual aspect of the sport. When you’re out on the mat, it’s all on you. No one to blame, No excuses.

Favorite memory as an athlete:

I would say my favorite memory is winning the Conference Championship at 138 pounds in 2019. I was seeded fourth and ended up knocking off the top two seeds that day. I was really proud of that, coming in as an underdog and being able to make some noise and do something nobody thought I could. It was special.

Other school activities/clubs: National Honor Society, Key Club, Student to Student mentoring, Academic Decathlon

Favorite class in school:

I like all of the shop classes, specifically the ones Mr. Leque teaches. We do all kinds of cool projects and get to apply our skills in multiple ways. Weight training is also enjoyable.

Favorite family meal:

Friday night fish fry up at my cabin is one of my favorite meals. We go out and catch the bluegills fresh and my grandpa always does a real nice job frying them.

Plans after high school:

I plan to attend the University of St Thomas or the University of Wisconsin- Madison for engineering.
