Three HHS baseball players receive All Conference honors

Three Hudson High School baseball players recently received conference baseball honors, as well as one player earning All District and All State academic honors.

Senior Ben Gilbert, junior Jack Erickson and sophomore Owen Anderson were all named to the All Conference Baseball Team. Gilbert received 2nd Team All Conference honors, while Erickson and Anderson received Honorable Mention honors.

In addition to his conference honors, Gilbert was also named to the Academic All District team as well as the All-State Academic Team. To be named to the All-State Academic Team, the head coach must be a member of the WBCA, the player must be a junior or senior, the player must receive All-Conference recognition, and the player must have a cumulative 4.00 GPA.

Hudson finished the season with a 7-1 loss to sixth-seeded Marshfield in the WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal Tuesday, May 28, in Marshfield. The Raiders ended the season with a 5-15 record.
