Girls Golf: Raiders tie for 2nd at Troy Burne

Paige Hillman tied for third individually and all five Raiders shot 56 or lower as Hudson tied for second place with Eau Claire Memorial at a Big Rivers Conference girls' golf match at Troy Burne Thursday, Aug. 30.

Hillman shot a team-low score of 43 over nine holes to tie River Falls' Hannah Harper for third place. Eau Claire Memorial's Lexi Meade earned medalist honors with a round of 40 while Sydney Brown of Eau Claire North shot 41.

Ali Wefel contributed an eighth place score of 49 to the Raider's team total while Courtney Dummer finished with 54, Lauren Gertschen shot 55 and Makayla Shilts had 56.

River Falls took first in the team standings with a total score of 192 while Hudson and Eau Claire Memorial each posted 201. Menomonie was fourth with 215 followed by Eau Claire North with 222, Chippewa Falls with 229, and Rice Lake with 335.

The Raiders return to BRC action Thursday, Sept, 6, at Turtleback Golf Course in Rice Lake.
